JERUSALEM - On Thursday February 22, Dr. Eilat Mazar of Hebrew University of Jerusalem released one of the most astounding biblically significant discoveries of our time – the seal of the Prophet Isaiah. While there are different interpretations of the seal, the context in which it was found provides the greatest proof that it was none other than the famed prophet and friend of Biblical king Hezekiah. On today’s program, archaeologist Brent Nagtegaal gives a first-hand account of the context of the seal impression from his time excavating the area in 2009 – when the bulla was unsuspectingly unearthed.
