#28: America’s Superpower Status Fades as Germany, Russia, China and Iran Race to Fill the Void

Aired Friday, July 10, 2015   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   54 minutes

The age of America’s global supremacy is nearing its end. Crises within the United State are stacking up and forcing the country to look inward, while world problems continue to escalate. America’s cyber security was exposed recently in a data breach that affected over 21 million people. The US Army is preparing to cut as many as 40,000 troops over the next two years to cope with budget cuts. America’s broken immigration system is jeopardizing American lives and undermining the Constitution. And sections of US cities are beginning to look like warzones as homicide rates spark.

All of these problems at home are preventing the US from being the superpower it once was. Many nations are vying to fill the void left by America. How will this play out? Who will come out on top? And most importantly, what does Bible prophecy have to say about all this? Join Stephen Flurry on today’s radio show to get in-depth analysis on the prophetic importance of these world-shaking events.

#26: The Murder of Kate Steinle and San Francisco Values

Aired Wednesday, July 8, 2015   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   54 minutes

Kate Steinle was killed in what appeared to be a random act of violence last week. Her killer, Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, a 45-year-old illegal alien, had been deported five times to Mexico. Sanchez was being held by San Francisco authorities, but was released due to the city’s “sanctuary” law, which argues that illegals should not be kept in jail because it violates their constitutional rights. After his release, Sanchez shot Steinle in the chest as she was walking along Pier 14, a busy San Francisco tourist destination. On today’s program Stephen Flurry takes a look at the shooting in San Francisco and analyzes the dangerous policies that allowed this man to be set free.

There were 210,000 co-workers and donors who were contributing to the work. The World Tomorrow program could be viewed on 382 television stations. The Plain Truth magazine was produced in seven languages and had a worldwide circulation of 8.4 million. And yet, as far-reaching as God’s Work was in the days before he died, Herbert W. Armstrong said in his final co-worker letter that “The greatest work lies yet ahead.” On today’s program, Stephen Flurry looks back at what happened to the work Mr. Armstrong started and shows where that work is continuing today!
