#249: The Dark Age of Science

Aired Tuesday, June 7, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   56 minutes

Science has become a god in our society. In today’s world, many carelessly accept what is produced from the scientific community as doctrine. Though, recent studies have revealed that in many areas of science, bias, flawed methodology, fraud and laziness have contributed to wrong conclusions. Yet many still carelessly believe what they read or hear, and any dissenters are cast out of the scientific community. How has modern science gotten so off base? On today’s show, Stephen Flurry explains what is at the core of this problem.

#248: Introducing the New Power Brokers in Iraq

Aired Monday, June 6, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   56 minutes

For nearly 20 years, the Trumpet has predicted that Iraq would eventually come under Iranian control. In the recent fight against the Islamic State, the United States has engaged in a limited way in the form of air strikes, while Iran has dominated the ground below. America’s involvement has served as a cover and, in many ways, even cleared a path for Iran to go in and take over Iraq. In a recent piece for Commentary, Max Boot wrote that when the Islamic States is defeated the biggest beneficiary would not be the United States or Iraq, but Iran. On today’s show, Stephen Flurry discusses how Iran’s takeover in the Middle East is fulfilling Bible prophecy.

#247: America and the Islamic State Are Both Concealing Iran’s Rise as King of the Middle East

Aired Friday, June 3, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   56 minutes

The United States paid a heavy price to take the Iraqi city of Fallujah in 2004. When the U.S. pulled out of Iraq under President Barack Obama, the city quickly fell into the hands of Islamic State terrorists. Now Iran is calling the shots in the offensive to retake Fallujah and is absorbing any territory it can in the fight against the Islamic State. On today’s show, we explain how America’s strategy in the fight against the Islamic State in Iraq is actually paving the way for Iran to take over.

#246: State Department Admits to Lying and the Shocking Truth About Iran’s Treatment of U.S. Sailors

Aired Thursday, June 2, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   56 minutes

The United States State Department admitted this week that it intentionally deleted an eight-minute exchange in an archived video. The video was from a December 2013 press conference where then-State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki essentially admitted that the Obama administration lied about having secret talks with Iran in 2011. With the Iran nuclear deal signed, news about how the administration manufactured stories to push the deal forward continues to be unveiled.

In addition to manipulating the media on the Iran deal, the administration has also skewed facts about how U.S. sailors were treated when they were taken hostage by Iran earlier this year. Legislation was introduced last week that will compel the Obama administration to admit whether or not it had to pay Iran for the release of the hostages. At the time, top U.S. officials, including John Kerry and Joe Biden, praised Iranian authorities for the way they “helped” the U.S. sailors.

Why does the government need to lie in order to forge ahead with so-called “progress”? Find out on today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show.

#245: A Proverb for Doubters: That Which God Has Spoken Shall Be Done

Aired Wednesday, June 1, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   56 minutes

Many today, even in the professing Christian world, scoff at the idea of God’s supernatural intervention in world affairs. Bible scholars have come to view the Bible as literature that might have some historical value but not as the infallible Word of God. Another reason traditional Christians reject the prophecies of the Bible is because of the many false predictions men have made throughout history. Because of these failures, many people, over time, have developed a skeptical, cynical attitude toward Bible prophecy. On today’s program, we’ll cover how this spirit of scoffing actually fulfills several Bible prophecies for the latter days.

#244: Iran Chooses Hard-liner to Lead Assembly; America Lashes Out at Israel for Hard-line Government

Aired Tuesday, May 31, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   53 minutes

Iran’s government last week elected Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati to lead the Assembly of Experts, the body responsible for picking the nation’s next supreme leader. Jannati is a hard-liner who has encouraged suicide bombings and, in 2014, stated that Iran’s number one slogan was “Death to America.” When asked about the election of Jannati, United States State Department spokesman Mark Toner shared a laugh with reporters and had no comment on the issue. The next day, when Toner was asked about the new coalition in Israel between Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Avigdor Lieberman, he wasted little time in noting that it was “the most right-wing coalition in Israel’s history.” Why is the U.S. silent on the election of Jannati and upset about Israel’s new coalition? Find out on today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show.

#243: Is ‘Brexit’ the Cure for Britain’s Sickness?

Aired Monday, May 30, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   53 minutes

In less than four weeks, Britain will vote whether to leave or stay in the European Union. Those campaigning to leave the EU see the vote as Britain’s last chance to regain sovereignty and come out from under the German-dominated union. But will leaving the EU be the solution to Britain’s problems? On today’s show, Stephen Flurry discusses the real source of Britain’s troubles.

#242: The Road to Hiroshima Was Paved by the Japanese Killing Machine

Aired Friday, May 27, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   56 minutes

Many today view Japan as a victim in World War ii. United States President Barack Obama’s visit to Hiroshima, the first sitting U.S. president to do so, has helped promote this image. An objective look at history, however, reveals that Japan was no innocent victim. On today’s show, Stephen Flurry explains why the bombing of Hiroshima was necessary to end World War ii.

#241: Japanese PM Wholeheartedly Welcomes President Obama’s Visit to Hiroshima

Aired Thursday, May 26, 2016   ·   04:07 PM CDT   ·   56 minutes

United States President Barack Obama will be the first sitting U.S. president to visit Hiroshima in what is being viewed by many as another stop on the president's “apology tour.” Just over seven decades after Japan tried to destroy the United States, America’s leaders are apologizing for dropping the bomb—a decision that ended a brutal war and actually saved lives. Today, even as America offers its apology, it simultaneously encourages Japan's rearmament. Where is this leading? And what is Japan’s place in the near future of world events? Listen to today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show to find out.

#240: The Human Spirit Is Lonesome Without God’s Spirit

Aired Wednesday, May 25, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   56 minutes

The mind of man can understand material knowledge that an animal cannot. Human beings are capable of building incredible wonders, appreciating music, and a host of other things the animal brain is totally incapable of doing. Though the human mind was created far superior to that of the animal mind—it is still incomplete when it comes to understanding spiritual things. Every human being has a desire to fill this void in his or her life. Most try to fill it with entertainment or other material pursuits. On today’s program, Stephen Flurry explains what is needed to fill the void.
