#2: The Battle Over the Bible in Archaeology
There are a dwindling few archaeologists in Israel that believe the Bible's rightful use in archaeology. They use the Bible, its history and geography, to actually guide them to both make their discoveries and help identify their discoveries. They acknowledge the Bible as the best source of history for the land of Israel that exists. However, there is also substantial cast of Israeli archaeologists who are unimpressed with the Bible as a historically accurate document.
Today's program looks at the one of the most heated arenas in this fight - the historicity of King David and Solomon.
