Aired Sunday, December 18, 2016   ·   10:00 AM CST   ·   45 minutes

5 years ago, Watch Jerusalem editor in chief Gerald Flurry wrote an illuminating piece entitled “How the Syrian Crisis Will End.” Five years later, with the evacuation underway of the rebels from Aleppo, the last major Syrian city under their rule, some commentators are calling this the beginning of the end of the Syrian Civil war.

But are we really at the end of the Syrian Civil War? On Today’s program, we will look back at that article by Gerald Flurry, as it presages some dramatic shifts still to take place on the Syrian battle front. In doing so, we will reveal a major player in Syria’s future that is still yet to join the fray in a substantial way.

On today's program, host Brent Nagtegaal takes a look at two cities that have everything to do with those two men; Gath and Khirbet Qeiyafa.

For the second half of today’s show, we look back at the some of the earliest roots of the Iranian empire, specifically the reign of King Cyrus, and see why Iran's current leaders would rather belittle some of that history.

Aired Sunday, November 27, 2016   ·   10:00 AM CST   ·   46 minutes

There are a dwindling few archaeologists in Israel that believe the Bible's rightful use in archaeology. They use the Bible, its history and geography, to actually guide them to both make their discoveries and help identify their discoveries. They acknowledge the Bible as the best source of history for the land of Israel that exists. However, there is also substantial cast of Israeli archaeologists who are unimpressed with the Bible as a historically accurate document.

Today's program looks at the one of the most heated arenas in this fight - the historicity of King David and Solomon.
