The Supreme Court shamefully decided yesterday that it would not weigh in on who is responsible for making election rules in states. Justice Clarence Thomas wrote a strong dissent explaining that the court’s decision not to intervene will ensure that chaos and confusion continue in future elections. He wrote that the decision not to hear the cases will “invite further confusion and erosion of voter confidence.”
[23:00] Imperfections of the ‘Perfect’ Election (13 minutes)
Michigan’s secretary of state was recently forced by a federal judge to finally follow through on her efforts to clean up the state’s voter registry and remove inactive voters. How many inactive voters were removed from the polls? 177,000—well over Biden’s margin of “victory” in the state for the 2020 election. In Fulton County, Georgia, the election commissioner has been removed from his position.
