#145: Obama: ‘No Nation Dares to Attack Us’; and Pressure Mounts on Angela Merkel

Aired Thursday, January 14, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CST   ·   57 minutes

United States President Barack Obama delivered his final State of the Union address last evening sounding confident as ever in America’s future. He spoke strongly about the U.S. military and America’s foreign policy, saying that claims about America getting weaker and our enemies getting stronger were just “hot air.” “No nation dares to attack us or our allies because they know that’s the path to ruin,” he said. On today’s show, Stephen Flurry takes a brief look at America’s standing in the world to show that its current status doesn’t exactly square up with the president’s latest remarks.

Also on today’s show, was Angela Merkel’s decision to open Germany’s borders legal?
