Six years ago, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated, “If Canadians are to trust their government, their government needs to trust Canadians.” Today, Trudeau is effectively declaring war on his own people. In a letter to premiers sent out last night, Trudeau said, “We are seeing activity that is a threat to our democracy and that is undermining the public’s trust in our institutions.”

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is also facing tens of thousands of protesters who want COVID-19 restrictions lifted. Ardern is gravely concerned about noise and certain flags. “To me,” she said, “it looks like an important style of protest that I have not seen before, complete with Trump flags and Canadian flags.”

Hillary Clinton, after days without comment, has responded to Durham’s investigation in a tweet, saying, “Trump and Fox are desperately spinning up a fake scandal to distract from his real ones.” Hillary has a long history with scandals. As Victor Davis Hanson noted in a recent interview, “A lot of people feel that Hillary Clinton is a master of scandal, and this [spying on Trump] is her greatest masterpiece.”
