[00:30] Western Leaders Quell Protesters (9 minutes)
Last week, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern forcibly removed protesters from the capital’s Parliament grounds in Wellington, burning tents and using water cannons to disperse the protesters. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau came down with a heavy hand against protesters in Ottawa a few weeks ago, trampling them with horses, freezing bank accounts, and holding people in jail for causing “mischief.” As these leaders call for a “diplomatic” solution to the Russia and Ukraine crisis, they trample democracy in their own nations. Such actions make their words hollow.
[09:55] Economic Warfare (18 minutes)
Nations around the world are trying to break the will of Russian President Vladimir Putin with sanctions and boycotts, but Chinese banks have come to the rescue, providing the financial support Putin needs to continue his war on Ukraine. Meanwhile, America continues to import oil and petroleum from Putin, strengthening Russia’s economy. Gas prices per gallon in America have risen to a nationwide average of $4 per gallon—the highest since 2008—highlighting just how weak the U.S. economy has become under the Biden administration.
[27:50] Childish Leadership (19 minutes)
Sky News called Kamala Harris’s discussion of the Ukraine invasion with European leaders “profoundly embarrassing,” noting that Joe Biden and Harris’s foreign and domestic policies “have been a total failure.” This kind of embarrassing, even childish leadership from our Western leaders was prophesied more than 2,500 years ago by Isaiah the prophet.
[46:15] Bible Study: Emotional Maturity (8 minutes)
“Just what do we mean—emotional maturity?” Herbert W. Armstrong asked in a 1971 Tomorrow’s World magazine. “Few know the meaning of the term. … Yet it is one of the real secrets of human happiness.” Do you understand what it means to be emotionally mature?
