While Joe Biden has banned crude oil imports from Russia, other imports from Russia to the U.S., such as uranium and nickel, are still ongoing. A “financial war” has begun between Russia and the United States, as Politico put it. How will it end?

Kamala Harris departed for Poland and Romania Wednesday morning to confirm that the U.S. stands “firmly and resolutely” with NATO allies. When she was asked by a reporter if the U.S. was prepared to harbor Ukrainian refugees, she laughed and shifted the focus onto her Polish counterpart.

According to USA Today, the claims and rumors of a U.S.-funded bio-lab in Ukraine are a myth. But an Odessa-based laboratory is clearly documented by the U.S. National Academy of Sciences’ Committee. Earlier this week, Under-Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland said the U.S. was working with Ukraine to “prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces.”
