[00:30] Student Debt ‘Forgiveness’—a Convenient Distraction (51 minutes)

This week, Joe Biden announced the cancellation of at least $10,000 of student debt per indebted graduate, with more for low-income debtors. Those who have already paid off their student debt don’t benefit at all from this debt “forgiveness” plan. Despite White House insistence that the plan will somehow pay for itself, it will ultimately cost U.S. taxpayers at least $300 billion, possibly as much as $600 billion. As the Wall Street Journal described it, this is “a college graduate bailout paid for by plumbers and FedEx drivers.” The executive action is also a convenient distraction for the media propaganda machine, which is trying to draw attention away from the illegal raid on President Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago.
