The U.S. radical left loves to accuse Donald Trump and his supporters of being fascists. Meanwhile, real fascism is rising in Europe. The winning coalition in Italy’s September 25 election will likely be led by the Brothers of Italy, a political party founded in 1946 as the successor to Benito Mussolini’s Fascist Party. Studying the history of fascism, Mussolini and the Brothers of Italy emphasize the true danger of the modern rise of fascism, which will impact both Europe and the rest of the world.
