[00:30] Midterm Election Takeaways (37 minutes)
As expected, the midterm elections last night painted a clear picture of a divided America. Democrats are celebrating “the end of Trump” and taking victory laps because the red wave wasn’t as big as they feared. In doing so, they are ignoring the real gains achieved by many Trump-supported Republican candidates. Other interesting developments include Florida’s Miami Dade County switching from blue to red, Arizona’s voting machines failing to work, and the media calling the Pennsylvania vote for John Fetterman as soon as he had the lead. America Under Attack provides valuable perspective in these uncertain times.
[37:00] How to Be Joyful (18 minutes)
When the Queen of Sheba visited Solomon’s kingdom, she was moved and inspired by the visible happiness of those who served him (1 Kings 10). True service in the Work of God brings God’s people deep and fulfilling joy. If we center our lives around God’s government and serve with the right mindset, we too can reap the benefits of God’s abundant and joyful way of life.
