However, new January 6 body cam footage shows that Capitol police accidentally gassed their own officers—including Sicknick—with a misfired canister of chemical irritant. The bigger question raised by the footage is why the police started firing gas and flash bangs at peaceful protesters in the first place.

Pence has repeatedly insisted that he did not take classified documents home and has criticized Biden for his documents scandal.
