So far, this week’s media narrative is that Joe Biden is extremely religious while Donald Trump is an irreverent heretic because he tweeted a lot on Easter Sunday. This Easter Sunday also happened to line up with the annual Transgender Day of Visibility, which the Biden administration paid much more attention to. Trump has powerful support from America’s religious right, and even the New York Times noted in an article titled “The Church of Trump” that the pro-Trump movement has a distinctly religious flavor.
