Donald Trump pressured Israel into making a disastrous ceasefire deal with Hamas terrorists before his presidential inauguration on January 20. Although Hamas is releasing some hostages, Israel is giving up far more and compromising its own national security by agreeing to this deal. Trump’s single-minded insistence on a diplomatic victory in the Israel-Hamas war before his inauguration spells disaster for the U.S.-Israel relationship.
