Pope Francis, the liberal “people’s pope,” died this morning. Catholics hope for a new pope who will prevent the world from descending into the abyss, but prophecy shows that an end-time leader of the Roman Catholic Church will help unify the last and most dangerous resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire. The latest Trumpet magazine features a prescient article titled “A New Pope for a New Era,” prophesying that the dangerous prophetic age we are entering into will require a new and much stronger pope.
