America’s 250th birthday celebrations are creating a partisan divide. The infighting over what should be a nonpolitical commemoration of our national history and accomplishments is a perfect snapshot of America today. At the same time, U.S. and Iran negotiators have agreed on a memorandum of understanding, which reopens the Strait of Hormuz but doesn’t determine the future of Iran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium.
