Armstrong's crowning achievement, Mystery of the Ages, the copyright owners said it was their "Christian duty" to keep the book out of print. A six-year legal battle ensued. From 1997 to 2003, the Philadelphia Church of God relentlessly fought the Worldwide Church of God for the right to print Mystery of the Ages.
