When Barack Obama was elected president of the United States, he said his victory was the “defining moment” when “change has come to America.” Leading up to the election, he had vowed to fundamentally transform the United States. After his victory, he began the process of “remaking America.” Eight years later we see the result of this dramatic transformation.
