Show Notes

It has been another busy week in world events, and we attempt to cover the major stories.

[00:25] France Falls

The French government collapsed this week, again showing Europe needs strong leadership. Prime Minister Michel Barnier was ousted, leaving Macron in a difficult position. With the economy as a major issue, the political landscape of France is looking eerily similar to that of the French Revolution. Host Richard Palmer discusses this crisis, Mohammed being the most popular baby name in the United Kingdom in 2023, and the dangerous slope of assisted dying.

[16:50] Russian Trolls

South Korea is in shambles after President Yoon declared martial law. Despite the soldiers on the streets, parliament convened in the middle of the night and unanimously voted to overturn it. Jeremiah Jacques discusses the implications of a paragon of democracy having such turmoil and corruption. Also, TikTok has admitted the influence Russia had on the Romanian election through the use of troll accounts. Many accounts were eventually taken down, but it was too late. Russia is trying to resurrect the Soviet empire, and it will use any means necessary.

[39:50] Hunter Pardoned

Despite the media, press secretary and President Biden himself declaring that a pardon for Hunter would not happen, we witnessed the most sweeping pardon perhaps in presidential history. If the Biden crime family is so innocent, why such a convenient and all-encompassing pardon? Andrew Miiller breaks this down on today's show.

[58:21] Syria Update

On Wednesday's show, Mihailo Zekic and Richard Palmer discussed the plain truth behind the Syrian civil war. But much has happened since Wednesday, so Mihailo provides a quick update.
