Over the weekend, an Iranian drone entered Israeli territory for the first time before being shot out of the sky. In response, Israel targeted Iranian assets in Syria for the first time. Then, for the first time since 1982, an Israeli jet was shot down by Syrian anti-aircraft missiles. Put together, these are not normal times. On today’s program, host Brent Nagtegaal looks at Israel’s response and the growing unease that war with a large-scale war Iran is inevitable in Syria.
