#209: Iran Violates Nuke Deal, Prompting U.S. Officials to Stop Using the Term ‘Violate’

Aired Wednesday, April 13, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   56 minutes

Iran was in clear violation of the recently implemented nuclear deal when it decided to test-fire ballistic missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads. The Obama administration was well aware of Iran’s breach of the agreement, but decided to use more ambiguous terms to describe Iran’s actions in order to preserve the deal. Instead of Iran violating the deal, the Obama administration advised its representatives to simply say Iran’s actions were inconsistent with the deal. Why is the president going to such lengths to cover Iran’s back and maintain the deal? The implications of this willful oversight will prove to be deadly. Find out where this is leading on today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show.

#208: The Foundations of the Earth Are ‘Out of Course’

Aired Tuesday, April 12, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   56 minutes

The world’s problems are getting worse. And despite humanity’s best efforts to forge peace and unity, war and destruction still abound. Mankind has proven it is utterly incapable of solving the mounting crises of this age. Psalm 82:5 accurately says of our world, “[A]ll the foundations of the earth are out of course.” How did the world come to be in such a chaotic state? Where did it all start? And what is the solution? Learn the answers on today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show.

#207: Is This Really Television’s Golden Age?

Aired Monday, April 11, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   56 minutes

“TV Shows Are Going Way Too Far to Attract Viewers,” reads the title of a New York Post article published this week. “For nearly two decades, we’ve been told that this is the Golden Age of Television: the smartest, deepest storytelling, the most nuanced and morally complex characters, are found here,” the article begins. But the so-called "Golden Age" in television is actually the promotion of disgusting extremes in immorality and violence. How are these types of shows affecting their audiences? How should true Christians handle television in our modern world? Find out on today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show with Stephen Flurry.

#206: What Happens When Young, Inexperienced White House Staffers Manage Wars and International Affairs?

Aired Friday, April 8, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   56 minutes

The people managing the executive branch of government in the United States may look like adults, but their judgments and decisions reflect the mentality of children. Fox News recently ran a series of interviews with President Barack Obama’s first three defense secretaries, and all three shared one criticism in particular: Young and inexperienced White House staffers are running America’s wars and international affairs! This crisis in leadership has led to some disastrous decisions. On today’s show, Stephen Flurry compares the decline of America’s dominance with the astonishing transformation now happening in Europe.

#205: Was George Washington a Fool for Saying American Society Was Built on Religion and Morality?

Aired Thursday, April 7, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   56 minutes

As far as human governments go, the United States started about as right as any government man has ever produced. Critics today can say what they will about why it started right, but the Founding Fathers all seemed to be in perfect agreement on one important cornerstone: The nation would survive and prosper only if it was founded upon religion and morality. Were the founders wrong in believing this? Listen to today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show for more on this subject.

#204: U.S. Retreats in the Sinai, Iran Prepares for ‘Widespread’ War and Europe’s Chronic Jihadist Problem

Aired Wednesday, April 6, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   54 minutes

When U.S. President Obama backed the ousting of Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak in 2011 he effectively cleared the way for a radical Islamist insurgency in the Sinai region. Now the United States is planning to remove its roughly 700 troops in the region. Officials however are adamant that the move does not signal a U.S. military retreat. Just what does constitute a retreat in eyes of the current administration? Listen to Stephen Flurry discuss this latest development and much more on today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show.

#203: Panama Papers, the Ruling Class and the Government of Tomorrow

Aired Tuesday, April 5, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   52 minutes

The newly revealed Panama Papers are shedding a bright light on the anonymous financial dealings of some of the world’s most powerful people. This comes at a time when much of the working class already views the entrenched ruling class as intrinsically corrupt. Where is this leading? And most importantly, what is the solution to man’s corrupt system of governance? For answers, tune in to today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show with Stephen Flurry.

#202: Toxic Mix: Mexican Cartels, Open Borders, Gang Warfare, Violent Cities and Family Breakdown

Aired Monday, April 4, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   55 minutes

Many of America’s big cities are experiencing huge spikes in violent crimes this year. High demand for dangerous drugs like heroin among people living in suburbs is fueling violence between gangs selling drugs in the cities. Gangs are being supplied with drugs from Mexican cartels that have been exploiting America’s open southern border. The mix is toxic, and it’s leading to the fulfillment of biblical prophecies that forecast violence in our major cities. Leaders are trying to explain why these problems are occurring, but only provide “solutions” that address the effect rather than getting to the root cause of the matter. On today’s show, Stephen Flurry explains the true cause of violence in America’s cities.

#201: Who’s Guarding America’s Nuclear Weapons in Europe?

Aired Friday, April 1, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   55 minutes

More than 180 American-owned nuclear bombs are stored in the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Turkey and Belgium. It should go without saying that the most powerful weapons in the world would also be guarded by the best security. Sadly, that isn’t the case. The United States deployed these bombs in Europe during the Cold War to serve as a deterrent to Russia. Since the end of the war, it seems the U.S. has all but forgotten about these weapons. On today’s show, Stephen Flurry explains how America’s neglected nukes will turn out to be its biggest threat.

#200: Sixty-one More Prisoners Granted Clemency by President Obama; Plus, an Interview With Guttenberg

Aired Thursday, March 31, 2016   ·   07:00 AM CDT   ·   49 minutes

United States President Barack Obama announced yesterday that he would grant clemency to 61 prisoners. In his nearly two terms in office, he’s commuted the sentences of 248 prisoners—more than the last six U.S. presidents combined. Mr. Obama believes America’s justice system has made some major mistakes in the past, so he is eager to give criminals a second chance. However, his decision to release criminals—when there’s no way of knowing if they’re genuinely sorry, nor any guarantee that they won't return to the same criminal actions—undermines America’s criminal justice system and serves to promote more crime. On today’s program, Stephen Flurry discusses this dangerous trend and points to where it is leading.

Also on today’s show, Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg recently had a lengthy interview with one of Germany’s leading news outlets. For analysis on his latest comments, check out the second half of today’s program.
