Show Notes

• The United States has the world’s most powerful, well-funded, technologically advanced military. Americans put a LOT OF TRUST in our military to keep us safe as the world continues to get more dangerous. Is this trust well placed?

• This past week, Hurricane Matthew hit some areas in the Caribbean quite hard—especially HAITI. We’ll talk about just how bad the damage was down there, and why it’s important for us to REMEMBER just HOW MUCH of the world is suffering today.

• The man behind many of the Trumpet magazine’s iconic cover paintings and article illustrations is artist Gary Dorning. He’ll talk about what it takes to illustrate a newsmagazine under tight deadlines.

• I’ll conclude the program by talking about a stealth missile that the media aims at our sons.
