Show Notes

Today we’re going to hear from British journalist, broadcaster and author Melanie Phillips.
In advance of a visit she will be making to the Trumpet’s offices on May 7, she spoke with us about her political journey—how she went from being a darling of the left to being Britain’s most controversial champion of national and cultural identity.

She’ll explain how the liberal view in Britain was transformed into a radical-left view—how her determination to stick to the facts put her at odds with the journalistic establishment over issue after issue—from the family to education to multiculturalism to Islam to Israel.

She’ll also share with us her insights about this past Sunday’s election in France—and what is happening politically right now in Europe.

And I’ll finish the program with an excerpt of her most recently published book, Guardian Angel.
