- Recent midterm elections in America smashed previous records for money spent on congressional elections. Money is a tremendous predicter of political success. Where does all that money come from, and what does it buy? We’ll ask some big-picture questions about American politics.
- This past weekend, Russia seized three Ukrainian naval vessels in what analysts say is a new front in its aggression against Ukraine. How does this fit with Russia’s larger strategy, and how will the West respond?
- Germans are rewriting their history, blaming America and the West for starting World War II, and painting romantic accounts of what one magazine called “1,000 Years of German Empire—Our History, Our Achievements, Our Pride.” We’ll look at why this should concern us.
- And I’ll conclude with a request of you, our listeners: to remember the message from the Trumpet in the time ahead.
