- U.S. President Donald Trump has another major foreign-policy achievement, brokering a deal between bitter enemies Serbia and Kosovo. This momentous economic agreement could improve both nations’ relations with the European Union.
- The Arab League refused to condemn the peace deal between the United Arab Emirates and the Jewish state of Israel, repudiating the Palestinian position. This could open the door for greater Iranian involvement with the Palestinians.
- The U.S. announced it will withdraw several thousand more troops from Afghanistan and Iran, acknowledging the reality that both of these wars have ultimately been “strength spent in vain.”
- We also talk about China taking more control over impoverished Laos, devastating wildfires in California, Russia conducting joint military drills with Belarus, Greece militarizing in preparation for conflict with Turkey, and more efforts to radicalize America’s public schools.
