- Each year, Herbert W. Armstrong College hosts a formal speech banquet, showcasing speeches prepared and delivered by the college students. On today’s Trumpet Hour, you can attend this year’s banquet.
- The theme of this year’s banquet was Proverbs 8:7, which says, “My lips shall speak truth.” Truth is an increasingly precious thing in a world increasingly exalting lies and casting truth to the ground.
- You will hear from nine students who will entertain you, inform you, enlighten you, exhort you, and inspire you with wonderful words of truth—truth about some of the most important themes of our lives: family, friendship, gratitude, courage, duty, hope.
- You will learn about overcoming adversity, embracing opportunity, expecting miracles and cherishing life.
