• We are going to talk about January 16—this past Saturday saw three events that will have significant effects on the world:
• First, China launched the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. This represents China’s effort to undermine America’s domination of the global economic system.
• Second, an election in Taiwan awarded a landslide victory to an outspoken advocate of Taiwanese independence from China.
• Third, the nuclear deal with iran went into effect, and economic sanctions were lifted on this terrorist-sponsoring state. That $100 billion or more, and the increased clout Iran has, will dramatically affect the Middle East.
• And finally, a few words about how to praise your children in a way that motivates them.
